Ric Hambrook, the founder of inStyle Property Management started working in the property industry in 2001 although back then it wasn’t managing properties, it was renovating them!
Working for a company specialising in bathroom and kitchen renovations, Ric immediately found his passion with property. Over the years, Ric transitioned off the tools onto the books, studying Business Management and Project Management. Whilst studying, Ric worked in roles that were heavily customer service focused where he learned that happy customers are the lifeblood of every successful business.
The idea to launch a boutique property management agency came from Ric having a bad experience with a real estate agency managing one of his investment properties. Like most agencies, this agency was a sales based agency that was run by a principal that had a sales background and no hands on experience in property management.
It was clear to Ric that there was a gap in the market that wasn’t being filled. A boutique agency that focuses purely on property management. Ric could see the value he could bring to landlords with his extensive background in renovations, project management, business management and customer service, so in 2012 inStyle Property Management was launched.
